Footwear for beach wedding

Hi,

I'm getting married on the beach next April. The sand isn't perfectly soft, so I want to wear something on my feet. My dress reaches the floor and is off-white. What type of shoes would be best to wear on the sand?

From the way you describe your wedding and dress, this seems to be an informal wedding. Perhaps a fancy type of wedding sandal or bridal flip flop:

These have a bit of a heel, but not so much of a heel that they get stuck in the sand. They are fancy enough to wear on the sand and then elegant enough to wear to the reception. Or, purchase another pair of shoes to change into for the reception. The sandal can then be worn later, if your feet get sore from dancing.
