Keeping wedding tiara on short hair

I am wearing a veil with a comb in the middle. The tiara has 2 side combs. My hair is very short. How can I make sure the tiara stays on? All the pins I see are with a wide opening. I know the pins will show if I use bobby pins so what would I use? Thank you.

One thing I carry in my bag of goodies is silver craft wire. Many times these type if tiaras don't fit well and where the combs are don't always have hair to grip into. Once the tiara is placed on your head the stylist or some one can wire you in place. Tie about six or so inches of wire on one of the combs and then following the curve of your head, wrap the other end around the other comb. Hopefully you have enough hair to hide the wire and combs. I assume you will keep the tiara on but remove the veil.If the combs simply don't serve much purpose you can cut off some of the teeth. I hope this helps! It has worked for me!
