     Veil and tiara

I have purchased a tiara to wear with my two tier veil. At the request of my fiance, I am going to use the top layer of the veil as a blusher. However, after a test run of the two together, my veil gets stuck to the tiara when it is lifted. I wondered if anyone has any suggestions on this other than not wearing the tiara. Thanks.

You could either do one of two things to solve the problem with your veil catching on your tiara. First, you could have your husband to be just lift the blusher during the ceremony (to kiss the bride) and let it back down to walk down the isle. Then when you are in private you can lift the blusher carefully over the tiara, so it looks like a two tier veil during the reception (if you are wearing the veil during the reception). Or sometimes the blusher is detachable. So you could a pin (something like a hat pin, your hair stylist might be able to help you with the type of pin) and put the veil on so it is under the tiara. This way your husband-to-be can just gently remove the hat pin and take the blusher off. The hat pin is very easy to remove, and if you show your husband-to-be ahead of time how to do it there will be no problems on the big day. Then when you are in private you can fix the veil and tiara however you want (if you would like the veil to be two tiered again, you can just reattach it with the pin).

Good luck,
