What jewelry and shoes?!

     What jewelry and shoes?!

I'm having trouble choosing jewelry for my myself to wear because between me and my bridesmaids, there are three different colors involved.

I am a medium toned Asian individual and my dress is champagne/mink color (picture included). I don't want to wear gold, but I can't think of anything else to wear that would match. Nor do I know what color shoes to wear.

I have three bridesmaids. My maid of honor is my sister, and she will be wearing the dress (picture also included) in ivory while my other two bridesmaids, who are both fairly fair-skinned, will be wearing the dress in black. Originally, I planned to have the ivory dress with black jewelry and black shoes and the black dresses with ivory jewelry and ivory shoes. Does that sound acceptable? But still, where does that leave me?

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! You can find champagne color pearl jewelry in Carolee collection, available at major department stores. You can also "Google" that collection. Your shoes should match the dress. Black jewelry sounds too dark for a wedding. Have a nice set of jewelry for your Maid of Honor, and two identical sets for the bridesmaids. They can be in gold or silvertone. If you select a goldtone jewelry for the ivory dress, the shoes could be gold-tone. In that case, it's perfectly acceptable to wear ivory shoes with black dress, as long as you have ivory handbags to match. Enjoy the wedding!
