Hi! I'm not sure what kind of headpiece to wear with an informal and very simple dress. We're getting married in a hall, so it's far from being a train-and-veil wedding. Still, I would like to have some kind of cool, funky head gear. Flowers would be nice, but we're strapped for cash, and we've already allotted money to the florist venture. Any ideas?
Thanks!

Butterflykissus: No problem at all as your options are more plentiful than what it seems. You may opt for a rather contemporary freshwater pearl tiara or hairdrop, or create your by combining hair accessories that look great, but need not be expensive. Good luck!

If you have short hair or very fine (not thick), for something super classy and stylish you might consider a cloche hat. They are classy and beautiful, available in all colors, silk, beaded, ribboned, with or without lace, and can come with veils or trains attached.
When searching for vendors, type in "wedding cloche hats" or "cloche hats silk" etc., as there are numerous sites on the internet offering these elegant hats. Several sites provide custom creations, and I saw several that had beautiful embroidered floral designs and beaded.
You might consider incorporating it as a theme with your bridesmaids. Copen Cabana DJ Audio Visual Production providing Custom Wedding Coffee Table Photo Book with DVD Services http://www.knowareland.com

Dear Bride-to-be,
Accessories is always the fun part of styling an outfit, especially on your wedding day. This is where you will get to show your personality and style. Depending on how you are wearing your hair, there are so many hair accessory possibilities. If you want something a little funkier and fun, a lot of our brides are choosing hair sticks with feathers, and fun flowers. If you are going for a more classic look, you can wear an elegant hair stick with rhinestones, crystals, or pearls. Some of our brides even pick hair sticks with a touch of color, like your "something blue", or maybe even a color that would match the bridesmaid dresses. Hair combs are also very popular now. A lot of brides will wear them on the side, with their hair down. Even if you decide to go with an up-do, you can position the comb so it hugs your hair. I hope my suggestions help.
