     proper jewelry for MOG

The wedding is at 6:00 pm in August. I have a navy and white cocktail dress (white pleated v neck top with empire navy skirt). I would like to wear my mother's three stone sapphire and diamond engagement ring on my right hand which is fairly impressive in size. Should I wear small diamond or pearl drop earrings, and is it too much to wear a sapphire tennis bracelet also? I rarely get to wear the jewelry I inherited, but I do not want to be overdone.

Your earrings will not be appearing next to the ring, so you can definitely wear the earrings you describe. I also see nothing wrong with adding a sapphire tennis bracelet. The only accessory that would "overwhelm" your look would be a necklace, but since you are not wearing one, you will be perfectly fine! Enjoy the wedding!
