wearing gloves during the exchnage of wedding rings ceremony

I have been looking at wedding dresses on the internet and see that some of the models are wearing gloves with their dresses. This look is very elegant but I have one question. What happens when the rings get exchanged? Does the bride take of her left glove or does the ring get placed over it. If the glove comes off, does the bride put it back one at the end of the ceremony? Thank you

Hello,

The bride takes off her left glove at the 'exchange of rings' part of the ceremony. She'll hand it to the maid or matron of honor. (If there isn't one, she'll hold the glove herself.) After the wedding ring has been placed on the bride's finger, she puts the glove back on and the ceremony contnues.
