     Bridal Party Hair

I just was asked to be a bridesmaid in my brother's wedding. My question is if the brides hair is down, does our's have to be as well?

It is looking like my dress will be an a-line strapless or possibly with straps. In addition, all 4 of my children are also in the wedding. My older 2(8 and 7) were asked to be jr. bridesmaids. And my younger 2(6 and 5) will be the ring bearer and flower girl. So advice for the girls hair would also be appreciated.

Speak to the bride about the wedding hairstyles. Some brides have specific preferences.

My mother is the one who told me my hair is to be down becasue the bride's is down.

For 2 my girls, I just don't see it being doable. The middle one has shorter hair anyhow. This especially goes for the flower girl who has very fine hair that just blows anywhere and about a month ago cut her own hair. By the time the wedding comes, we will be able to mask the self-trim though.

For me it just isn't practical. My hair is also fine and won't stay unless I have tons of hair spray. My mother knows this but is one that believes that the everyone has to wear their hair the same way as the bride.

Sorry, but you'll have to tell mom she's wrong this time. Again, ask the bride what she prefers and dicuss the limitatins with her.
