I am the MOH in an upcoming wedding and one of the bridesmaid's mother, who is a hairdresser, has gifted the bride her services to do the entire bridal parties hair (8 total women). The bride has expressed to me that she recently went to get her hair done by this lady and it turned out so bad that she had to go elsewhere to get it fixed. Now the bride doesnt want to use her services and doesnt want any of the bridal party to, as well, in fear of having the same issues. The bride is trying to figure out how to not offend the bridesmaid as well as the bridesmaid's mother.....
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

She could simply thank the bridesmaid's mother for her very generous offer, but, unfortunately (heh) she has already hired another beautician and given a non-refundable deposit. {Shrug} Top Wedding Questions Forum Moderator - "Write your sorrows in the sand, your blessings in stone".

I agree. The less she explains, the better. Just a thoughtful "Thank you, but no" is best. Rebecca Black, Etiquette Now
