Long-hair style for wedding - half up

Hi my husband insists that my hair be at least half down for the wedding. I have long hair, about 4 inches above my waistline. I would like for it to be half up so that it is out of my face. Any suggestions on a style for the part that will be up?

I would love to offer you many! I need more information though and a photo of yourself would be great help as well. Do you have layers around your face? What is the neckline and style of your gown? What time of day is the ceremony and how many attendants will you have? What is the overall feeling of your wedding event? Are you wearing a veil or headpiece? Is your hair straight or wavy? What is your everyday look? If you can supply me with these answers we can move forward with a solution for you.
