     Matching skin tone

I have always had difficulty finding the right foundation. I have mocha colored skin, with a yellow tone and a sprinkle of freckles across my nose and cheeks. I have light brown eyes and rosy lips. Often, foundations make me look like I am either wearing a mask or sunburnt.
I am having an evening wedding with pictures being taken early afternoon and then after the ceremony, so I want to look fresh and glowing, but not oily in my pictures.
Also, I am wearing a strapless dress and I want my face to match my shoulders and arms.
Any suggestions?

Hi Denea:

Make an appointment with a local makeup artist and get some professional advice on what's right for your skin type. She/He will be able to see your skin, complexion, color of eyes, etc. and would be then able to guide you to the right products for you. Even if you don't want, or can't afford to have a pro do your wedding day makeup at least you will get some helpful tips on what products to use and how they should be applied which you can have and utilize in your everyday life as well as for your special events.
