     Outdoor Wedding Makeup

I am getting married in June. It will an outdoor wedding. I want to have a nice clean look without looking like my face is melting. Since I normally don't wear a lot of makeup, I have no clue what types if makeup to apply for hot weather. I don't want to buy expensive makeup if it is not going to work. I will have a tan by then and I have a fairly nice complexion; green eyes and dark hair. What colors, type and brand of makeup should I use for a hot climate?

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! Makeup items don't have to be expensive to last long and look nice and fresh: the best solution for you would be mineral foundation by L'Oreal or mineral tinted moisturizer with SPF 18 by Belle Visage. That would give you enough coverage and "glow" to appear natural, and this type of foundation would not cake. To prevent possible "meltdown", make sure to spray your face thoroughly with Model in a Bottle makeup setting spray, after you finish with your makeup application. Model in a Bottle is my best tool to ensure that my bridal clients' makeup stays put all day, no matter how hot and humid it might be outside. Use only waterproof mascara (the best ones are by Maybelline - "Las Discovery" and "Lash Exact" by Cover Girl) Don't forget to use eye shadow base under your eye shadows: that will prevent color from going into creases! Good luck and enjoy your wedding!
