Tip for wedding makeup for oily skin

So I've been trying to find out what kind of make up to buy for the day of my wedding. I don't often wear make up but do know how to apply it myself and that is what I am planning on doing it for that day. I want a beautiful natural look but am not sure what to buy. I have dark green eyes, black hair, a fair and oily complextion. I would like any advice I can get on this. Please help.

Hello Riya,

The best way to have a long lasting makeup application is to start off with skincare first. Use a gentle cleanser for oily skin, and follow with an oil absorbing toner. It will look like it has floating powder at the bottom of the bottle, and you will need to shake it before using with a cotton ball. I think Lancome makes one.

*Makeup: Bourjois Cosmetics
I have discovered this great makeup line from my local Sephora. It is made in the same factory as Chanel. And the price is great. They have specific items for controlling oil.

For your complexion (Fair skin, oily, green eyes, dark hair)

* Lovely Matt foundation (all skin tones)

light weight, and oil absorbing, matte effect.

*Concealer: Illuminating Concealer: Peau Claire

* Poudre Compact Powder, oil absorbing, matte effect

Color: #71 beige clair

* Eyeshadow: Les Naturels #53

* Eyepencil: Long lasting, Radiant Copper

* Mascara: Maxi Frange waterproof, color: black

*Blush: Lune D'or #35

* Lipstick: lovely Perle: Color: Rose Deux Perle

* Lip Pencil: color: Espiegle #10

* Lipgloss: Plumping Lip Gloss Color: Rose Sexy

Dont forget to carry some blotting papers, they also make them. Give it a trial run before the day of the wedding.

Good luck,
