     Wedding Makeup Ideas

I am doing my own makeup for my wedding. I need some ideas on proper colours and techniques to apply my makeup. I have medium brown hair, hazel eyes and fair skin. My wedding is a formal wedding in September. I do know that I would like my eyes to stand out. I don't wear lots of makeup just mascara. I want makeup that doesn't cost a lot and I can buy at a drugstore. Thank you in advance Smile

Hello Nevaeh,

I have a sense of your coloring, it is similiar to mine. I found all of these items at my local drugstore. I grouped them by brand, so it is easier to find, once you are ready to shop. Here goes...

Covergirl:

Foundation: Aquasmooth makeup (blue compact) Color: Creamy natural #720

Lash Exact Waterproof mascara #925 Very Black

Lipcolor: Outlast Double lipshine #225 Megawatt Mauve

Pressed Powder: Trublend #410 Translucent Light.

..................................................................................

Revlon:

Creme blush #09 Rosy Glow, or powder blush in "love that pink"

Colorstay Concealer #610 fair

Colorstay Eyeliner, Brown

Colorstay 12 hour eyeshadow set#322, Nude elements

..................................................................................

Maybelline:

liquid eyeliner: Lineworks waterproof, #451 black.

Optional: eyelash curler, brow pencil, taupe

bronzer.

.............................................................................

All of these items are under $10, but they do add up. Especially if you don't own too much makeup or plan on wearing it after the wedding. They are not returnable if you use them. You may want to see if it is a better option to hire a makeup artist for the day, rather than investing in makeup you dont want for after the wedding. Plus, you get the assurance that you will look great in your photos! Either way, hold on to your lip color and powder for touch ups. Practice makes perfect!

Congratulations!
