I am having a very difficult time with wedding makeup. I plan to do it myself, however, trying to do it differently than I usually do is not an easy task. I have been experimenting with it and trying new products, but I always end up being disapointed. I really like the glossy lip look, but I want my lipstick to last all day. Any suggestions?
Plus how much sparkle is too much...I have hair glitter to wear, glitter eye liner, and glitter body lotion...I think this is too much, but I am not sure which to cut out.

Ok, lets start with how to have your make-up look best on your wedding day. Since you are dissapointed in the make-up experiments that you have been doing I suggest having a professional help and give you tips. You could either set up a trial with a professional make-up artist or go to your favorite make-up counter and have them do your make-up. This way you can get professional advice on what looks best on you. As for your lips...a nice gloss will look natural. You can purchase a lip lock to make the gloss last.
Now for the glitter...in all honesty the glitter will not photograh well on your wedding day. For starters, if your dress has embellishments already, the glitter would be competing with them. I suggest instead of using glitter body lotion, get a nice lotion with a sheen to it so you have a nice glow. Since you want to use glitter eye liner it sounds to me that you want a more dramatic looking eye. Instead of using the glitter liner for a dramatic eye I suggest a black or brown liner on the top and bottom and use an eye shadow that will give you a frosted affect. For example look at pictures of Jennifer Lopez and notice her eye make-up. She is one of the best examples of someone who's make-up always looks flawless.
