     hair extension?

my hair is about shoulder lenght, and I would like to have it longer for the wedding. Im considering hair extensions... anyone with advice, or an idea how much they cost, plus the styling? Do they look natural?

Once you've decided on a hair style. Go to your stylist and see if they've worked with hair extensions or hair pieces before.

Hair Extensions have to weaved in and last for about a month or so and cost $300 - $400.

A nice alternative to hair extensions are "hair strips" which is human hair that can be clipped. It adds volume and length to your hair for the day of so it's less of a commitment then extensions. If your keeping your hair down you'll need a few pieces. If you decide on human hair "Hair Strips" you can keep them for use at a later date too. They go for $90 - $400 dollars depending on how much hair you need. Heat can be applied to human hair.

If you buy synthetic hair it can be allot cheaper but you have to use it as is. I've seen synthetic hair look very natural, you just have to remember you can not curl it or straighten it with heat. You can find synthetic hair at CVS, or a Beauty Supply for $30.00 to $50.00 a piece.

We use human hair pieces on brides all the time. I've seen them used in up-do's as well as long, all down romantic styles. The hair pieces look very natural I find that brides are very happy with the look.

As for how much the styling is. Each artist charges a different price for the work and time.

Good Luck,
