I have always had a slight mustache as many women do. But, it is only noticeable in certain light and with certain make up. I am considering having it waxed for the wedding day, but am scared that I am making a decision to wax it for the rest of my life. Will it grow back thick and coarse if I wax it now? I don't want there to be a chance of a mustache in the wedding photos, but is it worth it?
If I do wax it, what time period should be allowed before the wedding?
Thanks,
Andrea

Re: [castle wedding] lip waxing before the wedding day?

Yes I think it is a good idea to get a lipwax. The little hairs can not be covered by makeup. It will show in photos, even if you have it bleached blonde. DO NOT wax if you are using facial products with AHA (alpha hydroxy acids, or any other acid type) The wax may penetrate too deep and give you a burn, and turn to a scab. Ask for the stripless kind of wax. The honey wax is better for bikini lines, and body hair. Too strong for the face and eye area, in my opinion. The stripless kind can also be purchased for home use. The bliss catalog offers one. Do one side at a time. It will not thicken hair, or make hair darker. Thats an old wives tale, your DNA can not be changed. I would do it two weeks before the wedding, since you are a "virgin" and see if you need to touch up again, no earlier than 3 days before the wedding.
