I have decided that the bridesmaids and I will be doing our own makeup on the big day. My wedding colors are chocolate brown, pink (either pale pink or fuschia) and sage/lime green. The girls will be wearing chocolate brown. I wasn't sure if you could recommend a color pallet and whether we should all be wearing the same makeup colors? Cool colors work best on all of us. Thanks

The colors sound beautiful and flattering! But I need more specifics about the bridal party. Can you give me a breakdown of each person, skin tone, haircolor and eyecolor please? I will try to recommend appropriate cosmetics.
Brown is the newest, trendiest color for bridesmaids. It a natural and flattering tone for all complexions, and looks great for daytime and evening weddings. Here are some cosmetics that I think would be a perfect fit for you and the bridal party..........
Bourjois Cosmetics (available at Ulta stores):
For you Sarah Dawn: (fair complexion, dark blonde hair, blue eyes)
Michelle gave you excellent and detailed advise, and you should definitely use the colors she has recommended. Your other concern should be the "survivability" of your makeup, which should last all day and into the night while looking nice and fresh. After you finish applying foundation, set it with a light dusting of Translucent Powder. That will set the foundation and will make it stay fresh longer. Apply Eye Shadow Base before applying your eye shadows. That will hold them in place and prevent creasing. Don't forget to use the waterproof mascara only! Remember: you might get emotional, and your bridal party can get emotional as well! To "seal" your makeup after the application is finished, spray your face with Model in a Bottle makeup setting spray. That will keep your makeup nice and fresh all day and into the night. You can visit my website for more information and for printable "professional makeup application tips". Enjoy!
