Inviting to bachelor party and not to the wedding

I was wondering if it was appropriate to invite people to the bachelor's party if I am not inviting them to the wedding? My best man and I have many friends from undergrad who I think would have fun at the bachelor party, but I would not necessarily want them at the wedding (too many guests that "have" to be there already).

Would it be OK to invite them to the bachelor party if they are not being invited to the wedding?
