My best friend is getting married, and as the best man, I know that it is my responsibility to organize the bachelor party. We are planning to go to the city for the party and stay in a hotel. I know that I am taking care of his room at the hotel, but am I obligated to pay for the rest of the people that are attending or are they obligated to make their own reservations and pay for their rooms??? If they are supposed to pay, what would be the best way to tell them, without offending anyone??? Thanks for any help!!

The first thing you should know is that this is an optional party and you are not obligated to plan this event.
But, if you choose to plan a bachelor party, you should get together with the rst of the men, including the other groomsmen, and plan it together. Everyone should agree on the plans and share the cost. Top Wedding Questions Forum Moderator - "Write your sorrows in the sand, your blessings in stone".

I completely agree. This is the one party, besides the bachelorette party in which the guests pay their own way. Rebecca Black, Etiquette Now
