     Bachelorette Party Transportation

How do I politely state on the invitation for the Bachelorette Party, that we would like to get the bride a limo, and provide everyone a safe way to party and get home, and are asking for $55 to cover the price of the Limo and for them to pay in advance, so that the bridesmaids who are planning it have the money upfront and if the person chooses to back out that we will retain the $55 as their gift to the bride for her special night!

I just feel that if we don't have the money upfront, that several girls may RSVP and then not show up and then the bridesmaids have to cough up the rest of the amount to cover for the ones who did not show.

I know it seems rude, but it seems like the best way to cover the butts of the bridesmaids who are planning the party.

Since all party-goers (aside from the bride) should share in the cost of hosting this particular party it is fine to list cost expectation on this type of invitation.

Get everyone to agree and chip in before the event date.

I completely agree. This is the one and only party that the guests provide the party. It should be expected by the guests.
