Bachelorette and Shower in Same Day - Who to Invite?
Hello,
I am having a shower hosted by my aunt the same day that I am having my bachelorette party (organized by my MOH). They are technically two separate events, but I was wondering whether it would be considered rude to invite some to the shower and NOT to the bachelorette party? Those invited to my bachelorette party would be my younger girlfriends that I am closest and most comfortable with. Or should I just invite everyone? My mom and some aunts are planning on going to the bachelorette dinner with us then letting us go out to some bars with the younger ( and more wild) crowd without them.
Please let me know what you think may or may not be appropriate. I don't want to offend or hurt anyone's feelings. Thanks!

Dear Same Day Events,
As long as there is no discussion of the bachelorette party at the shower and the bachelorette party begins at another location, it is fine not to invite everyone to both.
But, your aunt shouldn't be hosting your bridal shower unless she is also an attendant. It is viewed as self serving.

Thank you for the info! It is much appreciated. My aunt is an attendant, I should have mentioned that as I have already learned that from this wonderful forum!
