I am the maid of honor for my friend's wedding and we are having the bachelorette party in 3 weeks and I have no clue what to do. We don't drink and we are not having strippers, but I still want it to be a little risque but not too much. And right now I am the only one that is paying for it so I don't want anything too expensive because I don't know how to ask if anyone else wants to pay. And I am the only bridesmaid in the wedding...so I am by myself at this. Any ideas?

Dear Maidofhonor,
I don't know of any risque things for you to do...I'm dull!!! but how about a tea, or do a pajama party and do facials, etc. or go roller skating. I've also had bridemaids do a ceramic party at a ceramic shop and each person can make a piece of ceramic for themselves as a souvineer. Well, I went to a bachelorette party a few months ago and it was a lot of fun! here's what we did:
We all met at the bride's house and carpooled to a local grill/bar. We all ordered food, paid our own way and split up the bride's bill between us. Those girls that drank, got alcoholic beverages, and the others, like me (i'm only 20) got sodas or virgin daquerris. Then, we had a list that we had made prior to the party of things that the bride had to do/get. Things like, *get a picture of a stranger kissing your cheek, *collect 24(the age of the bride) coasters, *buy another woman at the bar a drink and invite her to come to your place, *braid someone's hair, *propose to a man in the bar and try to get him to say yes, things like that. Then, by the time she was done, the kareoke was open, and we did that for the rest of the night. It was a lot of fun because everybody was trying to help the bride with her list when she was having a hard time, or trying to mess her up when she was doing well, and it included everybody, wasn't overly sexual, and didn't require you tobe 21 or to get drunk! I don't think the bride even had an alcoholic drink all night (probably not since it was the night before the wedding)
