Bride who wants a bachelorette party

I want a bachelorette party, as I've always been at them, but never the bride to be. However, it doesn't seem like my girls plan on giving me one. Is it greedy of me to want one in addition to the shower? How do I imply that I want one without sounding like bridezilla?

All of these pre-wedding parties such as showers and bachelorette parties are optional so if someone offers to host one - feel honored.

You can't really be sure if a party has not been planned since it could be a surprise so sit tight and wait. Of course, mentioning your interest in this sort of party (in a subtle fashion) would be fine but you shouldn't expect or ask anyone to host this for you.

Enjoy the wedding planning.

I agree. Subtle hints are fine, but we can't expect anyone to open their wallets for us.
