Can I ask groom to invite my boyfriend to his bachelor party

My boyfriend and I will be going to my hometown (3,000 miles away from where we live) for my cousin's wedding. This will be his first trip to my town with me and he does not know anyone. My cousin will be having a bachelorette party, which I will attend, as I am one of her bridesmaids. The groom will probably have his own party that night with his friends. Is it ok for me to ask the groom if my boyfriend can attend his party with him, even though they do not know each other? Should the groom be the one to extend the invitation to him knowing that he is from out of town?

The bachelor party is a night of fun for a group of close those closest to the groom. It would not be appropriate for your boyfriend to attend and surely not proper for you to ask. That would put the groom in a very uncomfortable position. How could he say no?

Ask your boyfriend to make plans for himself, even if that means he rents a movie back at the hotel.
