     Couples shower

My best friend wants to give my son and his fiancee a couples shower, however, her house is not large enough for an event of this size. Would it be in bad taste for me to have it at my house which is larger? She and another friend would be giving the shower, it would just be at my house?

Thanks.

It wouldn't be appropriate for the shower to be hosted at a relative's homeespecially the mother of the groom or bride, unless the relative is also a part of the bridal party. Remind the hosts that the shower should be a small, intimate gathering of only those close to the couple who are also invited to the wedding. They should limit the guest list to accommodate their home or consider another location.
