     Hosting own Bachelorete Party

I am hosting my own bachelorette party along with help from two of my BMs (who are too busy to host) becasue my MOH (who is my sister) lives in another town and we are very different in the types of 'partying' we like to do. The plan is to go out to my favorite resturant and then to a couple clubs. I want people to RSVP but am not sure if it would be proper to have them RSVP to me, should I have one of the BM's take the RSVP's? Or I do have a web site that I could let them RSVp on?

Dear Hosting,

It is considered extremely improper for you to host this optional party. The bachelorette party is paid for by those attending. The bride pays nothing. So, for you to ask others to pay for a party you plan isn't fair or polite.

If the bridemaids want to host this, it would be the party they can afford to host. It would be their choice of party with your tastes in mind.

Best wishes,

Actually I'm not asking anyone to pay for it. Unfortunatly as I have come to find with the bridal shower is that my MOH has her own agenda for my wedding - to get what she was not able to have for her wedding and in her taste - not mine.

Perhaps it would be best to call this party something else then or your guests will want to pay your costs.
