My stepmom and I are best of friends and she is one of my bridesmaids. My sister is my MOH. I have heard through the grapevine that they are planning a combination lingerie shower / bachelorette party in my honor. I am extremely excited and grateful they are doing this for me. Is it inappropriate for my stepmom and sister to host this party? Is it inappropriate to combine the lingerie shower and bachelorette?

Dear Blondie,
It is fine for both of them to host it as they are your attendants. It is also fine for these to be combined if everyone is invited to both events. It can be a bit awkward as one is a gift giving event and the other is not. But, it can work if planned well.
