MOH and mom planning bachelorette without bride's input

I'm having trouble dealing with my mother and my maid of honor. They have proceeded to plan the bacelorette party without talking to me about anything. They are purposely leaving out a bridesmaid who they don't like. They have planned a bachlorette party for a night when one bridesmaid can't attend and say they can't move it since two bridesmaids have already asked off work. I was never asked if this party would clash with anything on my schedule or if it was anything I would be willing to do. The time they have planned is after I get back in town from my cousin's out of town wedding around 8:30 or 9 at night. They planned for us to go out to a restaurant that because of my diet I can't eat at and didn't even ask me if I eat there. I normally don't because of the limited choices for anything resembling healthy. This party would only be able to last an hour or so because I have somewhere to be early the next morning. How to I politely tell them their plans interfere with my schedule?

Dear Aceofcakes,

It may be best to speak to each privately about their plans and explain why it doesn't work for you. Plus, it may also be best to remind them that this is a party all of the attendants plan if they wish to do so. None should be excluded unless they do not wish to be included. Mothers should not be involved in the planning or hosting. They can read this in any etiquette book if they don't believe you or me.

You could also decline the offer, which may be best in your case. It seems that you may have some conflicts here.

Be firm, but polite.

Good luck!

This all became a moot point as the MOH got called in to work. This upset my mother because she had refused to cancel even though one girl couldn't make it but she couldn't tell her job she already had something planned. This does work better for me though so I'm happy.
