destination wedding's bachelorette party, location and paying.

As sister of the bride, and the only person in her wedding party, I wanted to know what the ettiquette would be for a destination wedding's bachelorette party. All of the bride's friends are spread out between a few cities, should we pick the city with the most people in it to host the party? There are 2 cities that have about equal numbers, but chicago would be more fun that cleveland. Or should we pick the bride's home city in which not many of her friends live (new jersey). We don't want guests to have to travel for the party and the wedding in Greece. Also, what part of the tab am I supposed to pick up? All spa events, meals etc for the party, or just the bride? Thanks!

Dear sister of the bride,

Normally a bachelorette party is paid for by the bridesmaids. However, if you are the only attendant, you cannot be expected to cover these costs. I would pick the city where you think most of her friends would be able to make it and go with that.
