1 sister inlaw as bridesmaid but not the other??

Hi! I have 4 bridesmaids in my bridal party as of now. My fiance has 5 groomsmen. I would like to ask his brothers wife to be my 5th bridesmaid. Problem is my fiance has another brother who is also married. However that other brother lives four hours away and I have only met them once. Also they are expecting a baby in a few months and the baby will be young when we get married. The brother and sister inlaw who live close to us I see frequently and I feel close to her.

Can I ask one soon to be sister inlaw to be in our wedding but not the other? Unsure

Dear Bride,

You can ask anyone you wish. However, please don't feel as if you have to have an equal amount of attendants. There is no reason. The extra groomsman can walk two bridesmaids if they walk together. If not, it will never be noticed.

Best wishes,
