Asking two out of three sisters to be bridesmaids.
My fiance has three sisters. Two of his sisters live close by and I have developed friendships with them. The third sister lives on the other side of the country and I have only seen her probably 5 times in three years. I would like to ask the two who I am close to to be bridesmaids; however, I'm concerned about offending the third sister. I can include the third sister, but it would be like asking an acquaintance to be in my wedding. My fiance doesn't see a problem with just asking the two. I'm not so sure. Thanks for your help!!

Dear JorgiesGirl,
This is delicate. Yes, you can ask anyone you wish and should. But, you are right that she may feel left out and unwanted. Perhaps you could talk to her about this. It would seem that she would appreciate that fact that you are worried about her feelings. It really doesn't make sense to include her as an attendant due to distance and your relationship. Plus, it would be expensive for her. So, perhaps you could just let her know your thoughts on this.
