     Bride wants a male bridesmaid

One of my best friends is a guy. I couldn't imagine having my wedding without him in it, so I asked him to be a bridesmaid. He said yes, but now I don't know the proper etiquette for having a male bridesmaid. Should I list him in the program as a bridesmaid? How do I differentiate between him and the groomsmen? And who does he walk down the aisle with?

You can refer to him as a bridal attendant. You can either have him process in with the men and just take a spot on the other side, or have him come in during the entrance of the bridesmaids (he just won't carry a bouquet).

I completely agree. This is quite proper.

He would dress the same as the groomsmen except his corsage would be in the same color as the bridesmaids' bouquets.

Best wishes,
