     Bridesmaids husband

I am to be a bridesmaid for my best friend. Is it usual for a bridesmaids husband to come to the wedding? My husband is invited but as we have to travel to another country, he doesn't want to go. The bride was the only bridesmaid at our wedding and I feel we should both be there for the bride even though my husband will be alone and I in the bridal party.

What are your thoughts?

Typically all spouses and significant others of the bridal party members are invited to the wedding. If your husband doesn't want to go, or cannot travel, it's not really a breech of etiquette but more of a personal decision.

Have a safe trip.
