Hi there. I'm an out of town Bridesmaid and the MOH is throwing a shower. She wants the Bridesmaids to help with favors and told me my duty are drinks (which I think is one of the most expensive things). I already attended to a shower and I'm also attending to the bachelorette (paying two flights and accommodation), the braid is ok with me not attending this time. I'm wondering if I should still have to pay for the drinks for a shower I'm not even going. I thought of participating in a group gift and don't mind to pitch in with the rest of Bridesmaid but just got laid off and my budget is quite tight at the moment, so please help me here: Do I have to pay for the drinks? thanks in advance.
