Brother-in-law marrying friend. Second wedding for both

My husband and I have been asked to stand up in his brother's second wedding. He is marrying a good friend of mine and it is her second wedding too. Both were married briefly the first time. Since we have given gifts to both of them and stood up in their first weddings, what is proper etiquette with regard to gift giving? Bridal shower gifts? Please help. We don't want to break the bank on their second wedding, but also want them to know we are happy for them. Thanks.

Dear Second Time Around,

You are not obligated to give another wedding or shower gift. Only give if you feel that you want to give.

Best wishes,
