My first marriage – his second; my fiancé has no one to choose for groomsman and potentially the best man. Unfortunately he has too many family issues and currently has no plans in inviting his family (mom & brothers and 1 sister). Since he comes from an extremely small family he has no one. How should I approch this? Do I pick everyone from my family? I worry that it will not look right. HELP!

If he doesn't have anyone close to him, then he doesn't have anyone close to him to stand at his wedding and he shouldn't just pick someone from your family. Wedding attendants are selected based on closeness to the bride and groom. Sometimes that includes family, sometimes it does not. Never is it obligatory to choose family or siblings. Nor do you have to have an equal number of attendants, or any at all for that matter.
Perhaps understanding the dynamics of his situation, you can have those next to you that are close, and he have none, or both of you can opt not to have anyone stand next to you. But this decision is a personal decision and 'how it looks' really isn't as important as how comfortable you and your groom to be will feel on this most momentous of days.
