Divorced woman title maid of honor or matron of honor

Our youngest daughter has asked her divorced, single parent, older sister to be in her wedding party. Since she is divorced is her title maid of honor or matron of honor? I need to know asap so we can get the programs printed. Thank you. Sandi

Dear Sandi:

Once a woman is married (divorce is not an issue) her title would be matron of honor. The best analogy would be to consdier that a woman never goes back to using Miss after being married.

Create your own wedding programs with easy-to-use papers and your printer.
