     Do bridesmaid's dresses have to be different from maid of honor?  

Does my bridesmaids dresses and maid of honor dress have to be different?

The dresses can be the same but typically we select something different for the maid of honor to signify her role. This can be done with a different type of hair ornament or bouquet. The dress style can be different or you can even have a slightly different shade of color for the maid of honor; it's your choice.
