Does bridesmaid have to buy gift for every shower?
As a bridesmaid, do I have to buy a gift for each wedding shower that I attend or only the one the bridesmaids are hosting?

Every? Multiple showers? There shouldn't be more than 2 showers hosted for the couple. More than that and it usually appears as if the couple wants to ensure they receive 2 gifts from every guest.
You only give them one shower gift and this could be a group gift with the other attendants. And, you are not obligated to host a shower.
