Good bridesmaids gifts?

     Good bridesmaids gifts?

Hi;

I'm sure this isn't a unique question but I'll ask it anyways. My attendants do not wear jewelery per se. So for their gifts I am going to give them jewelry. Is this ok? or Is it tacky given that they don't normally wear jewelry?

Thank you

Put yourself in your attendants shoes for a moment. If you didn't wear jewelry, would you like to receive this as a gift?

I always suggest that the best gifts are given with the recipient in mind. Don't worry about tradition or what's expected -- give them each a personal keepsake of the day that will let them know that you selected the gift just for them. Let them know just how grateful you are to have had them as part of your wedding day and that you appreciate their time, efforts, and friendship.

I couldn't agree more. Jewerly is traditional, but not personal if the person doesn't wear it. Gifts should be personalized and from the heart.
