How do I tell a close friend she is not the Maid of Honor?

I have two very close sorority sisters that are in my wedding party. They are actually my "little" sister and my "big" sister in the sorority.I have already asked one of them (my "little" sister) to be my Maid of Honor as she and I are closer. My other sorority sister (my "big" sister) does not know that I have already chosen the MOH and I believe that she thinks she has a good shot at it. How can I tell her that she is not the MOH without hurting her feelings too much?

This is something that I have been stressing over for a while. I know that a bride can have two MOH's but I would prefer to have only one.

Dear Sis in the Middle,

I think the only way to tell her would be to be honest. You have been stressed about this, so tell her how difficult it has been. You should do this very soon so both of you can move on from this.

Best wishes,
