     How many Bridesmaids and Groomsmen

UnsureOk so I have been stressing out recently regarding some decisions on who I should have in our wedding party but, before I go on with that, for a wedding of approximately 100 guests, how many bridesmaids and groomsmen is appropriate? I was thinking about having only 2 but I'm not sure if that is too few. How many bridesmaids and groomsmen should we have?

How many bridesmaids and groomsmen in the bridal party depends on the formality of your wedding.

I am having a January wedding, and I've heard it has to be a evening wedding since it is in winter? Plus my gown is mermaid style with chapel train and a tier veil! I guess it will be a semi formal wedding?

Dear Heather,

You can schedule your wedding for any time of day you wish. Don't worry about that.

Usually, we would have one groomsman for each 35 guests--for seating them. But, you could only have two attendants if you wish. Sometimes we don't seat our guests, except, of course our honored guests and mothers.

Best wishes,
