MOH wondering what to do as wedding day gift

I am the MOH in my friend's wedding, I have given her a generous wedding shower gift and planned and paid 50% of a very classy bachelorette party (I split it with another bridesmaid). I'm wondering what I need to do as a gift on the wedding day.

My boyfriend is invited, so should he give them money as a gift from just him, or should we do money from both of us? Since I've been paying for things throughout this whole process, am I still expected to give a very generous gift on the wedding day? This is my first time as a bridesmaid, much less MOH, and I just have no clue what they expect of me as far as a wedding day gift.

Dear Callacalla,

You have been more than generous so far. You really didn't need to give a generous shower gift. A less expensive one or one from all the attendants would have been fine. The bachelorette party expenses are supposed to be shared with all the guests (this is the one party where the guests share in the expenses). Plus, these parties are optional. What isn't optional is the wedding gift. You are expected to give a gift that can be a shared gift between you and the other attendants. It doesn't have to be expensive or cash. Your boyfriend isn't obligated to give anything.

Best wishes,
