     Maid/Matron of Honor

If I choose both sisters to be the matrons of honor, which is a good solution to my problem. They both don't want to be called Matrons...is there another politically correct name to call them?
This all seems so trivial in the grand scheme of things. They should be more concerned about my wedding and not about what they are in the wedding. My fiance does not want me to stress about anything when it comes to the wedding. I'm just trying to keep the peace....

Yes, they could be called Honor Attendants.

Dear Ms. Goss,

As horrid as it sounds, married women are considered to be "matrons." Sorry. If your sister are making a huge deal about this, you can call them the "Women of Honor" or "Ladies of Honor." Do remind that their title is not as important as their role in your wedding!

Good luck,
