     Possible pregnant bridesmaid

Can anyone please offer me some advice? Two of my bridesmaids have decided to try to become pregnant. However, i'm in the stages, of trying to order the bridal parties dresses? My wedding is in a few months and I was told to put the dress orders in relatively soon. What should I do? Can alterations be made to dresses to resolve a pregnancy possibility?

Don't worry, the boutiques are used to this. I would have to say 60% of our brides have a pregnant attendant in the bridal party. This is not a problem.

You can pick out your dresses and the last fitting is usually done a few weeks before the wedding. You can also try going to your local maternity boutiques for dresses that are similar in style to the one you want but in maternity.

I had a bride find the exact brides maid dress the rest of the bridal party was wearing at Pea in a Pod. Good Luck and Don't Worry.

No need to worry.
Many bridal retailers nowadays carry different styles to accomodate almost every body shape - even for pregnant bridesmaids.

An empire dress, (dress that ties around below the bust and just flows out) is the best choice for pregnant bridesmaids. It leaves plenty of 'space' for the tummy area, and not only is it comfortable for them but I've seen many that are very stylish.

You may want to consider checking out online retailers for your bridesmaids' dresses...you'll get a much better deal as far as value goes, and you'll be able to search through a wide variety of styles.
Many bridal retailers ship on the same day as well.

Alterations is almost always necessary for a perfect fit.

Good luck! :)
