     Pregnant bridesmaid

My Fiance has 3 sisters that I asked to be my bridesmaids, since then one of them has become pregnant. She is a very self involved person and has not said 1 thing to me about the wedding since. Also, she now barly speaks to me. I spoke to her sister about her not calling me and about her dress. (her baby will be only 8 weeks old and I was concerned that her dress might be the wrong size) Well as soon as I got off the phone with her, the other sister calls and leaves a snotty message saying that she will fit in her dress and all her "baby fat" will be gone by then!!!! I feel betrayed and hurt by the two of them!! Also, we had decided that we would not be inviting kids and I know that this will cause an issue to. Please help

Dear Wheatleytara,

Weight, especially at a time when she can't do anything about it, is usually a touchy issue. So, it is easy to understand why she may have been angry, even if you hadn't said she would be too 'fat' for her gown. We can never know what is going through a person's head or how something that is said will be interpreted.

It may be best to discuss all issues directly with her instead of around her. This way she understands exactly what you mean. You could even discuss the no children issue. It is best to discuss this very soon, as it will be difficult to leave a baby so young.

Best wishes,
