Should I postpone getting pregnant for my SIL's wedding?

To what degree should I consider my SIL's (husband's sister) wedding date in our plans to start trying to get pregnant?

Outside of the wedding, this is the ideal time for our family to start trying. If we do, I could be anywhere from a few months pregnant to many months pregnant to postpartum.

This is a very personal decision. You and your husband and your sister-in-law would have to decide if you'll be able to participate at the level required. You may want to consider stepping down if you have any question.

I completely agree. This is something only you and your husband can decide. There are no etiquette rules here for you to break unless you gave your word to participate and knew that you might want to get pregnant and could miss the wedding. Then, of course, you would have to explain your reasons to the bride in private.
