My fiance has two brothers who have both gotten married in the past two years. We had just begun dating when they both got engaged and as expected, I was not asked to be a bridesmaid. Throughout my almost 3 yr relationship with my fiance they have started terrible rumors about me, and said terrible things to me. Since then they have both apologized to me and we do get along, this is mainly due to the fact that I am nice to keep the peace. My question is do I have to ask them to be bridesmaids? I know we get along now, but I do not believe it is genuine on their part. They do not include me in things, and every once in a while they still make snotty comments to me. My fiance is having them both as groomsmen. I don't want to regret not having them, but I also only want to be surrounded by people who have loved and supported my fiance all along on our wedding day.
