     Three matrons of honor?

To make a very long, complicated story short, I just last year met my two older half sisters for the first time. Through the whole process I have gotten very close to both of them, and have brought my dad back to them as well. I'm getting married in 07, and I know that I want to include both of them. I also have a best friend from high school who I have already asked to be my matron of honor. Both sisters are married, and I want them to be matrons of honor too. I can't imagine having them as just bridesmaids, and I don't want them to feel less important. I have seen many posts that say have one maid and one matron, but this is a little different situation. Is it posible to have 3 matrons of honor? And if so, what are all the duties, and how on earth would I decide to split the duties? I will also be having my FH sister, and 1-2 other girls yet to be determined.

Dear Piano Girl,

Although very unusual, I think they would be honored to be included as Matrons of Honor. They will be your helpers throughout your planning process and I would plan to meet with all of them to let them know what you need them to do and they can volunteer or you can assign to each of them. Not a horrible process just remember to communicate with them equally.
